The Indian Premier League (IPL) is the domestic T20 cricket league in India. IPL is hailed as one of the most popular franchise-based professional T20 cricket league in the world and started in 2008. Mumbai Indians are the most successful franchise in the IPL with 4 titles to their name.

The Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) is a professional T20 cricket league which held in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The league was launched by the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) in 2016. Players from various parts of Tamil Nadu participated in this franchise-based league which also sees participation from the local players who are part of the Indian national side.

The Karnataka Premier League (KPL) is a professional T20 cricket league held in the southern Indian state of Karnataka. KPL was modelled by the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) in 2009, on the lines of IPL. Players from various parts of Karnataka participate in this franchise-based league which also sees participation from the local players who are part of the Indian national side.

The Big Bash League (BBL) is a professional Twenty20 cricket league, held in Australia. The franchise-based league that features eight city-based franchises was launched by Cricket Australia in 2011. Local cricketers from Australia and international cricketers from various parts of the world participate in this league. Cricket Australia also hosts a Women's Big Bash League.

The Global T20 Canada is a Twenty20 cricket league played in Canada. The first edition of the tournament was held in 2018. Each team comprised four local Canadian cricketers in each squad, along with international players.

The T20 Mumbai League is a professional Twenty20 cricket league held in Mumbai. The league is conceptualised by the Mumbai Cricket Association and it came into being in 2018. The concept behind this league is to identify, develop and promote cricketers at the grassroots level.

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) is a domestic Twenty20 cricket league in Pakistan. It was founded by the Pakistan Cricket Board in 2015. In the PSL each franchise is owned and controlled by investors.

The Mzansi Super League (MSL) is the domestic T20 cricket league played in South Africa. Founded by Cricket South Africa, the league came into existence in the year 2018 as domestic and international cricketers from all over the globe participate in the tournament down under. Six teams battle it out for the coveted trophy in the MSL. The second edition of the Mzansi Super League (MSL 2019) began November 8. Jozi Stars were the winners of the inaugural season.
