Mitchell Starc became the heir of legendary Mitchell Johnson and carried his legacy of fiery left-arm pace attack forward. Starc is one of the most destructive bowlers in the world and played a big role in Australia's dominance in world cricket. Starc will always be known for his pace and control of the cricket ball which helped Australia lift the 2015 ODI World Cup and several memorable wins at home and away across formats. In the 2015 WC, he was named Player of the Tournament for taking 22 wickets at 10.18. In the year 2015, Starc claimed 41 victims in 18 ODIs. In the 2019 WC in England - where Australia's campaign ended in the semi-finals - Star claimed 27 wickets.Starc - who is married to Aussie woman cricketer Alyssa Healy - made his ODI debut against India in Visakhapatnam in October 2010.
