Mitchell Santner and Calvin Harrison, in particular, made excellent use of the conditions to apply the squeeze. Billings makes room and cracks the cut. Hits it flat and straight to deep cover, where Dewald Brevis snaffles it around his chest. Rockets are now 5 down, needing 27 off 14 balls.

In the air...but safe. Adam Zampa has his hands on his waist in disbelief. Around off, this drops on the batter. Billings attempts the sweep, trying to go over the man at square leg. A top edge is found but the ball drops out of the reach of the back-tracking Andrew Tye there. Two taken. 12 runs off the set. 27 needed off 15.
Billings is safe. Keeps it full, on middle. Sam gets his hands out in front and hangs low to sweep it wide of deep mid-wicket. He takes the first run hard and comes charging back for the second run. Jonny Bairstow gathers the ball on the bounce and breaks the stumps but Billings puts in a full-length dive to get home.
SIX! Clever, very clever! Tossed up by Zampa, on middle, a bit too full. WIth fine leg and square leg both up inside the circle, Billings steps inside the line of the ball and laps it over long leg for a six.
Oh, that could have gone back onto the stumps. This is slower, around off. Sam tries the reverse but swings early. The ball deflects off the pads onto the gloves and it sneaks just past the sticks.
SIX! Incredible shot. Sliding on with the arm, on off. Billings brings out the reverse and executes it to perfection. Gets his hands through the line of the ball and swats it over cover for a flat six.
Liam Livingstone has three sets remaining from his pacers, so either Adam Zampa or Livingstone himself will have to bowl one set. And it is Zampa who comes back on.
